Today I leave for a ten day trip to photograph southern Utah. Fellow photographer, Django G-S and I will be living out of backpacks while photographing some of the darkest skies in the country. Tonight is the opening night of “Midwest Contemporary” a summer photo exhibition Lillstreet Art Center one of my prints is hanging in. Sadly I cannot make it out there due to other photo assignments i’ve got this weekend. If you happen to be in the Chicago area, go check it out! It runs through July 14th.

Travel Update: Utah, June 14-22nd
June 14th-22nd a friend and I will be in southern Utah working on an astrophotography time lapse project. If anybody has any tips/tricks for hanging out it the area, i’d love to hear em. Or if anybody wants to hang while I’m out there, that’s awesome as well.
